What is the book about?

Sara is a 9 year old girl who is displaced along with her family when an earthquake destroys their home. Sara learns to cope with feelings of fear, anxiety, worry, and uncertainty with the help of her parents and friends. Sara also learns how to support her friends and community. 

For parents: In this book, parents will receive conversation prompts to help discuss difficult topics with their children such as loss, grief, natural disasters, and confusing emotions. This book will also help identify and understand children’s emotions and behaviour when experiencing trauma from a natural disaster.
