Our Statement on Gaza

I have tried and failed to make an Instagram reel statement on behalf of Rocky Books Co about the inhuman and evil massacre of innocent Palestinians over the last 19 days.

We make storybooks for children experiencing trauma. But you cannot read a storybook to a dead child.

Psychological first aid for children includes storybooks, story time, activities, music, art and dance. However, the constant destruction and violence that the children of Palestine are experiencing is unfathomable.

It is so constant that children and adults are living in unending terror. no human being can heal in this state.

The bombing must stop. There must be a cease fire immediately. This is the only way. Speak up, share information, protest. The children of Palestine deserve your attention and energy. Act now, before it is too late.
