Rocky Books Has The Best Volunteers in the World

Happy International Volunteers Day!!

I may be biased but I think Rocky Books Co has the BEST translation volunteers.

Our volunteers are the reason we can have our trauma support books available in so many languages, making them accessible and easy to understand by parents and children all over the world. Families going through similar struggles in India, Pakistan, France, China, Syria or Britain.

Our translation volunteers set aside their precious time to ensure we could make our books accessible across cultures all because they believe in our vision and mission.

We owe them so much.

We would also like to urge you all to think about and speak up for the atrocities happening in Sudan and Palestine, where we have 1 volunteer currently living and 1 volunteer whose family has been directly affected by the occupation and genocide. These amazing people translated our Earthquake Trauma Support Booklets into Arabic for us this year. Because they know what it's like for the children living through trauma each and every day.

I also think it is telling that our Arabic language volunteers have been affected by world event recently. Over the last 2-3 decades especially, the Middle East and Africa have been unfairly exploited, invaded and politically destroyed. This is not fair. The innocent people living in these countries deserve better.
